Cinque Terre

Two hours, the whole Cinque Terre. Ghibli casts off from Molo dei Pescatori at ten in the morning, while the cliffs still hold the low light, and traces the entire coastline in one unbroken run: Vernazza gathered around its natural harbour, Corniglia set high above the vineyards, Manarola's houses stacked in colour over the rock, Riomaggiore rising out of its ravine. The boat belongs to the group alone — up to six guests, nobody else aboard, cold drinks within reach the whole way.

A Working Boat, Not a Ferry

Ghibli is not a ferry running a fixed route. It's a working fishing boat, the same one Benedetto has taken out of Monterosso for forty years, and it moves the way a fishing boat moves — close to the rock, away from the lanes the bigger tourist boats follow, slowing wherever the water looks right. Somewhere along the five villages, when the sea is calm enough, the boat stops and the group goes in: swim, snorkel, masks handed out on board, no extra charge, no rush back.

Inside the Marine Protected Area

This stretch of coast sits inside a Marine Protected Area, and Ghibli keeps to its rules without exception: five knots near shore, engines throttled back around the villages. It's not a formality — it's why the water off Riomaggiore and Manarola stays clear enough to snorkel in, and quiet enough to hear the town before you see it.

No Prepayment, Six Guests Max

Booking doesn't require payment up front — a reservation on this tour is confirmed the moment it's made, and can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before departure. Life jackets are on board for everyone, and the snorkel masks are already stowed and ready before the group arrives at Molo dei Pescatori. Six guests is the most Ghibli will take out at once, and that limit doesn't move — the boat stays private, booked by one group at a time, with the route and the stops shaped around whoever is aboard that morning.
